These three works were created during an artist residency at Gapado AiR on the tiny, remote island of Gapado, near Jeju, South Korea. They were born from daily early morning walks around the island and combine video, environmental sound and found objects to highlight the interplay of the sublime and the everyday and the relationship between the human and natural worlds. They are separate but connected and designed to be shown together as a modular installation. Their musical elements are in the same key and their different tones and durations together form a generative musical composition.
