Ornaments of Decay is an album about finding beauty in ruins, decay and the details and textures of everyday scenes. Slowly evolving modular synthesizer sequences are layered with degraded Bass VI loops and fractured mellotron and casiotone melodies.

Released by Past Inside the Present on limited edition cassette, 28 November 2022. Also available as part of a deluxe boxset including tapes by Pepo Galán & David Cordero and Drum & Lace.

Reviews

“If slightly dazed & somewhat confused is your default Monday setting then the overflowing, mildly disorientating, lysergic layers of ambient sounds cascading from the latest LP from Wil Bolton for PITP probably won’t help, but through your headphones on the way to work they’ll certainly add a pleasing, reality detaching dimension to the start of the week.” – The Slow Music Movement
